Best Australian restaurant in Hungary

B	Barbs Jen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We love coming here, especially for their winning cheesy fries. They are like the best in town. Their wings are quite delicious too and have a great variety of drinks too. The price is mid range I would say. The serving staff is friendly and accommodating. They have a big selection of food. They also have concerts in the evening (maybe on a Saturday, I am not entirely sure). I highly recommend this place.
T	Tim Byrne on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for brunch in the center of the city. It’s a very cozy venue tucked in a side street just off the Grand Boulevard. There were three of us so naturally we had to try different things and throw in an extra order to share. We had a Bacon, Egg & Cheese Bagel, a Full Hungarian Breakfast, Chilaquiles, and added some Biscuits & Gravy to share. There wasn’t a bad dish in the bunch. All were quite tasty and even though our Czech friend though the Chilaquiles was a bit spicy, I would have loved some more green chile. Having lived in the southeast, biscuits and gravy is a staple breakfast food so I was a little bit apprehensive about ordering it in the heart of Budapest but I was pleasantly surprised. The biscuits weren’t as good as those you’d get from meemaw’s cast iron skillet but they would be welcome on most southern breakfast tables. Looking forward to coming back at dinner time to see what treats they have in store.
Ю	Юрий Шаридода on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the favourite bars in Budapest. Reasonable prices, very good program all the week - stand up comedy, live music, karaoke, pub quiz, drag queen bingo etc. The stuff is very pleasant.

At some point I asked the young girl who was serving if she could bring me a lemonade and she literally rolled her eyes in my face staying that she was busy. When I confronted her about her behaviour she made some excuses for her behaviour. This is unacceptable no matter if you work in a restaurant, a bar or the cheapest pub. To me this ridiculous. If you want to be serviced like a human being avoid this place.

It costs us 10.800ft Lovely experience indeed.Never again!Thank you

I visited this place during one of the drag bingo nights and was pleasantly surprised by the service that the bar provides and an authentic and friendly atmosphere, especially refreshing for expats so you don’t have to embarrass yourself trying speaking Hungarian, everything is in English and everyone speaks English around too! The owner and the bartenders are super nice and easygoing, the prices are great for a bar in the center of Budapest. Also highly recommend to visit during the Thursday drag bingo, you won’t be disappointed!

The place is little bit overcrowded , I think they allow the bookings to reach 120% expecting that not everybody will come but what is yes? The more the merrier but not at the edge of pandemic situation…
V	Vinny the brick on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A solid pub with good prices and both a live band early on Saturday evening and Karaoke into the night. Get here earlyish (before 9pm) to ensure a table on Saturday evenings. The staff is very welcoming from the moment I stepped in and thru the night. I highly recommend this establishment if you're looking for a good crowd, good drinks, and a fun atmosphere. The bands lead singer Patrick is a solid performer as well!
