Clean, friendly place with a big cat, good location

Friendly, courteous staff. Pool requires a bit of work. Prices are very nice. Tasty breakfast selection. Room was comfy, well kept (does require a bit of repairs, but nothing major).

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend. The reception staff is very professional and friendly. The overall feel and decor are smart and good quality. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is a small spa, which is supposed to be a haven, but some hotel guests made that rather difficult with their behaviour. Hotel staff were not active in resolving the issue. My husband had to ask the young boy to stop jumping in the pool while we are in there. The food was OK, considering that the hotel prides themselves on their kitchen, I would have hoped for a bit more. Breakfast is good, but not excellent. Orange juice is not the best quality and not 100%. Coffee is boarder line. Staff are finding managing breakfast times quite challenging at peak times, also we had to join soneone as there were not enough tables, and some other guest had to wait for a table. The waitress at dinnertime was not really clued in on the wine selection and the wine was not cold enough, but they solved the issue, we were given a bucket with ice. Over all some smaller hick-ups, but a good value for money I would say.

Nice, clean ? good bathrooms, everything very nice and clean. Just two negative experience: too soft beds, the springs should be old, every morning I woke up with a backache, and the breakfast was quite monotonous! It was tasty and enough, but I would expect better from a four ? hotel! All important places are in the vicinity. I highly recommend this ?

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and clean. The bathrooms are well equipped and spacious. The wellness spa was 10/10. The buffet breakfast was really nice, and id you choose the half-board catering you will be very satisfied!! Everything was delicious and they had a nice variety. They also have parking spots available, a gym area and a bar. The prices are correct as well and the view is nice too.

Beautiful hotel at the foot of the Gyula Castle. The room and the bathroom in it were clean and roomy. You can feel yourself in a castle with modern area. The breakfast is rich and the dinner is very delicious. The dessert for the dinner is also 'yummy' :). The hotel has wellness part too, in which you can use 4 type of saunas, 3 type of jacuzzies and also a swimming pool. Every sights are in 5min walk, the Gyula Castle, the Almásy - Castle and Gyula Thermal Spa too. In the Almásy - Castle you can see interactive exhibitions, which make the whole area very interesting. The thermal water is very unique. Beside, it is very good for your health, the color of it is not common because it is brown with which you can't meet so many times. I highly recommend Gyula as well as Elizabeth Hotel. Az Elizabeth Hotel a legjobb választás volt a Gyulai tartózkodáshoz. Gyönyörű hotel, felidézi a múltat egy modern környezetben. A szobák és a hozzájuk tartozó fürdőszobák tiszták és tágasak. A reggeli bőséges, a vacsora pedig nagyon ízletes. A vacsorához tartozó desszertek is cukrász minőségűek. A hotelhoz tartozik egy wellness részleg is, 4 féle szaunával, 3 féle jacuzzival és egy úszómedencével. Minden látványosság - Gyulai-vár, Almásy-kastély, Gyulai Várfürdő közel van, körülbelül 5 perc sétára. Ha először jár az ember Gyulán, érdemesebb előbb az Almásy-kastélyt meglátogatni, az interaktív kiállítás miatt nagyon érdekes és látványos. A Százéves Cukraszda is 15 perc alatt elérhető. Gyula városa gyönyörű város, mindenkinek csak ajánlani tudom.

The room was good, but food was amazing. Also the medieval castle only 100 meters away.
