It is directly connected with the Castle Spa which has won the 5-star qualification of the Hungarian Baths Association. The Munkácsy Building***, the 3-star wing of Hunguest Hotel Erkel, with 122 rooms was renovated in 2001. Every 3 star-room is equipped with television, wifi and telephone, and we can ensure small refrigerators for extra fee. Beyond this, the 4-star Dürer Building can be found which was inaugurated in the beginning of May, 2011. This wing contains 177 standard double rooms, 5 suites and 4 rooms for disabled guests. Every 4 star-room is equipped with air-conditioner, LCD TV, minibar, telephone, direct Internet access and safe. Non-smoking floors and rooms await our guests. Most of the rooms are equipped with balcony and bathroom with showers, and command beautiful view to the Castle Garden and the boating pond. ...where you can enjoy gastronomy Unforgettable tastes contribute to the guests’ experiences. Beside Hungarian specialities, our Restaurants, the Orchidea with minimal style and the Nostalgia with retro style, offer tastes of international cuisine for gourmands and local specialities, as well. In our chef’s offer reform and vegetarian dishes can be found, but – as far as possible - individual wishes can also be fulfilled. In offer of the bellyful smorgasbord – breakfast and dinner, as well - everybody finds to its taste. In our Café ’Violin' coffee specialities and a wide range of excellent drinks are offered. In addition, specialities of the Hungarian wine regions are launched.

The rooms are very comfortable, the only problems is there are very few sockets and thus you can really charge multiple devices at once. The absolute plus with this hotel is that it is connected to the Gyulai Várfürdő and you don't have to leave building itself to get to the bathing area. The whole place is wheelchair accesible which is also nice. In my humble opinion the food got worse in the past few years, however it is still a good choice. As a conclusion I would recommend this place to all ages and people.

We here staying in Durer wing, this is renovated and clean, rooms are a bit small. Overall service was good, but at arrival we had a bit of communication issues at the reception, The guy told me that something is not wright with our booking for the kids, I have explained him 5 times, and he was still saying that something is not right. After 2 unsuccessful phone-calls he finally understood my point, and everything was OK. It was so strange that I was thinking that we was stalling for some other reason. Breakfast Ok, dinner not so much. Easy access to baths is convenient. Parking huge but still not enough for the size of the hotel, we where with 3 cars and found only 2 empty parking spots.

The best experience I have ever in Hungary. Imola suite was on top floor with Castle view. There was enough room for 4 persons. The spa & wellness was perfectly designed in terms of water temperature and pools. Wide variety of entertaining options. Helpful and kind staff everywhere. My personal favorite was the cappuccino at the bar made from top notch caffe beans.

Reasonable hotel. Buffet styles breakfast....

Clean, good staff, I recommend the place for a nice family vacation

Nice room, very well heated. With a bathrob you can walk to the hotel SPA, or with an electronic bracelet to the Gyula Aquatic palace or thermal SPA. Restaurant has a wide offer of food, so no one will stay hungry. Personell everywhere in the hotel is very polite. Hotel has own parking lot, just press the button of the ramp.

It is a nice hotel to spend a weekend. The enterior is renovated, but i would still not give it a four star rating, as it is outdated. The spa was a bit small for me, there is only one (smaller) pool, and it was filled with children. In the other hand I was wery satissfied with the sauna section, it was spacious and i could choose between multiple kinds of saunas.
