The two stars are for the person at reception. You were the saving grace. It's so sad to see that the staff (assuming it was consular staff) at Embassy were so unkind and unfriendly (except the person at reception who took time to listen and at least point us in right direction). Having had our passports/ PR cards and all other valuables including money stolen, it was not too much to ask from the staff to be kind and compassionate. They did not even let us inside and simply asked us to go to Embassy of Canada in Vienna. When we requested them if they could connect with staff at Vienna and check if we could come in tomorrow- they simply refused and also went on to mention that we have to apply online and cannot go to Embassy. Funny enough - two days later consular section send an email saying that we left the Embassy without them being able to guide us. You could have done better. If you can't help at least be empathetic. FYI- the Embassy of Canada staff at Vienna was terrific.
