A szecessziós stílusú „Községi elemi népiskola” - ma Ének-zenei és Testnevelési Általános Iskola - Balázs Ernő tervei szerint épült 1909-1911-ben. A homlokzatot díszítő mozaikokat Bátki József készítette.
Under the leadership of Mayor István Bárczy, a large-scale apartment building, small apartment and school construction program was implemented in Budapest between 1909 and 1912. According to the results of the most modern pedagogical research of the turn of the century, 55 schools were built, with nearly 1,000 classrooms.
The Art Nouveau-style “Village Elementary Folk School” - today the Primary School of Music and Physical Education - was built according to the plans of Ernő Balázs in 1909-1911. The mosaics decorating the facade were made by József Bátki.
