We were ignored by a very rude and unprofessional waiter, we tried to order twice and he walked passed and said "sit down and wait" I had a tourist friend it was a bitter experience, there are other places next door with same view, HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! out of respect I did not post his photo!

Nice menu and great view of the Danube and Gellért Hill even from the tables inside by the window. Nice comfy loungy seats outside also by the main entrance but only a few so you need some luck. Plenty of room inside though, and on the larger terrace, which is very nice in summer.

It`s an awesome place to be and stay with your Friends for a nigt Out. The View and the Atmosphere were amazing! Thank you so much for the awesome evening!

The rudest staff and they ask aggressively for a tip. However, if you reject to give a tip because the service was slow and they were sarcastic, they start pushing chairs around and talk to each other looking at you from a distance. Such a nice place with such horrible staff.

Despite being a very good place to take the sun, have cocktails and have a good time, the service leaves a lot to say? I went with a friend this Sunday April 24 around 5:00 p.m. and apparently there was only one waiter running everywhere that not only was he slow to attend to us but, additionally, he was sarcastic and gave rude answers. Was it because we were women? For speaking in Spanish and not Hungarian between us? From the first moment the mistreatment was felt and when I made the claim he didn't even have the decency to stop and talk to me, he only complained to say that we didn't say "good afternoon". Do I have to beg for your service? Isn't that what I PAY for? Wasn't a HELLO enough? Did he want me to run after him asking about his family or how was his day? It's a shame that a restaurant of this stature has to receive a bad review because a macho, xenophobic person who hates his job. Rude!!!!!! Evidently, after such a bad response on his part, I got up and left without paying for the only drink I had a chance to order and I DID NOT EVEN TAKE A SIP because it was NOT the one I ordered... He didn't even took the correct order.

Nice view of the river, tasty food, cuisine closes early

Wonderful location in the city center with a nice view of the Danube. This is where the advantages of the cafe end. Many items in the menu are missing. Prices are high. Brownie is of poor quality, too sweet. They brought it with melted ice cream. Apparently, it stood for a very long time and waited for him to be taken out. And we, in turn, have been waiting for an order for a very long time. The lemonade was too sweet, too. The serving of the dish and drink is beautiful. The service is nothing special, practically no communication. But the waiter was upset that he was not tipped... although for what. Also a big minus is that there is no shade on the veranda and it is very hot, there are a lot of insects.... If I come back here, it will be only in the evening for the sake of a beautiful view.
