★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A kőfejtő egyben érdekes földtani szelvény is, melyen jól láthatók az egyes korok rétegződései. A fejtés tetejéről remek a kilátás, de a peremén felvezető ösvény meredek és omladékos: csak tapasztalt túrázóknak ajánlom, fokozott odafigyeléssel. A kőfejtő pihenőjében található egy információs tábla érdekes infókkal és egy figyelmeztetéssel, hogy a fent található barlang veszélyes, és a látogatását nem javasolják. Nos, a pár méter mély barlang tényleg nehezen megközelíthető, és fokozottan omlásveszélyes, még ha valaki - hozzám hasonlóan - enged is a kíváncsiságának, nem ajánlom, hogy megfelelő felkészültség és felszerelés nélkül beljebb merészkedjen.
The quarry is also an interesting geological section, on which the strata of each age can be clearly seen. The view from the top of the excavation is great, but the path leading up to the edge is steep and crumbly: I recommend it only to experienced hikers, with extra care. There is an information board in the quarry rest area with interesting info and a warning that the cave above is dangerous and not recommended for your visit. Well, the cave, which is a few feet deep, is really hard to reach and all the more risk of collapse, even if someone - like me - gives in to its curiosity, I don’t recommend venturing inside without proper training and equipment.
