One of the most beautiful educational trails, the Stone Valley Educational Trail!

We started from Cserépváralja with children aged 4-6. They could walk the terrain, the first hive to the stone and back was about an hour and a half with them. The road is mostly in the woods, so you can walk in a relatively cool place even in the heat. After the rain, the road is muddy for a few days. The hive stones are not a big attraction for children, you can find interesting things along the way.

Returning from the closed gate of the castle, a rain-hut can be seen on the left hand side of the driveway, here begins the biggest “bang” of Cserépváralja towards me, towards the Mango-roof hive stones. It’s just a 10-15 minute walk from the hut and we see one… but one. You have to go on the wide dirt road for a while, then a small path branches off to the right, leading to a dilapidated flight of stairs. Starting from this, we reach the “twins”. The Great Cone is the most common hive stone in Hungary. The 16.2-meter-high rock giant has 25 cabins. On the much smaller brother, and on the Kiskópó, there are 5. (There are 20 hive stones with 132 niches at 10 sites on the border of Cserépváralja.) My eyes widened like an owl when you saw prey. The Great Cone cannot be described. The locals simply call it the Devil's Tower. I don't know if the devil sweated out of himself or the angels came down with him… Due to the condition of the wooden stairs, it's only four!

In a secluded location in the depths of the forest ... among millions of proliferating plants, these millions of years old geological values ​​rise. It is worth walking here on the shady forest road.

Above Cserépváralja, on a Mango roof, in the depths of the forest, are these special volcanic formations. The conditions of their origin are presented on information boards.
