Strašné ubytování,nikdy se milí studenti tady neubytovavejte. špína, pavučiny,prah za posteli, brouci...hnus a tečka za tyhle peníze co jsem zde dala tak byly velmi vyhozené za tuhle cenu by to chtělo jiný vzhled atd... Nejezděte tu !!

No kettles, shared bathrooms, weak WiFi

This is strictly a warning to any student aboard, especially third-country student, of the horror that is Raday dormitory residents’s hygiene ethic and how the management board handle it. I’m currently a senior at Corvinus university. I have been through all the uni’s campus, and this one is by far the worst. If not for my personal shortcoming and no prior knowledge to this place, I would’ve never choose it. The management sort me to a room on the fifth floor, and I quickly find out why this place is so horrible: the Hungarian students that has been living here for more time than I am. They are for what I can understand a closed group. They made the kitchen hell by using each other’s utensils and equipment AND ALMOST NEVER WASH IT. They pile their dirty dishes on top of one another and leave it there. They threw recycle trash and burnable trash in one place and leave it there. They partied and leave the aftermath there. I saw multiple notice from concerning residents but the quality never improve. The kitchen, especially shared one, is susceptible for things like this, but the Hungarian students took it to the next level of absolute filth. The worse part is how the management here handle the situation. At one time they locked the kitchen down, and after that its quality increased somewhat before fell down to the “normal” level. The kitchen is not the only problem: some of the rooms here has to share the same closed bathroom, and it has been designed so that there’s no sink hole for residue water to go anywhere, so any attempt to clean the bathroom made it worse. I have filled out their report form about room condition, and the request of fixing the toilet has NEVER BEEN ADDRESSED. They still have the audacity to regularly check the room twice per month, and decided to fine us 4000 forint for not keeping the bathroom up to their standard, while making sure that the kitchen remain as atrocious as possible. So I’m writing this long review to warn all student who has accepted the invitation to come to this dorm. DON’T. Or at least ask the management about staying with Hungarian students on the same floor. If they sort you in with them deny it. Your livelihood is better in any place other than this. Don’t let the location and outside looks fool you.
