Wonderful little place, I heartily recommend it to everyone! There is nothing to do about the hotel, the rooms are clean, tidy and quiet. The staff is the dream itself. Special thanks to Bogi and Zoli, who are always very helpful and kind in everything! :) I would also like to highlight Uncle Vili, who is very dear to my heart, who, even in the middle of the night, makes tea for the cold guest with a smile, and brings a plaid, and if it were not, even good mood and serenity! :) I raise my hat in front of it, a rare treasure for such labor! If you hesitate, don't do it, you should be a guest of the Phoenix! :)

We stayed at the hotel for three nights in May and as a professional I can say that it is no coincidence that this small 25 bedroom hotel is popular. The location is great, the building is well maintained (everything works in the pre-season as well), the staff at the reception are friendly and prepared, the waiters are polite, the housewives are friendly and thank you in advance (unfortunately this is a feature of the hotel), direct but not intrusive. The rooms are quiet and can be distinguished according to their location and equipment (with or without a bathroom with a bathtub and a shower, you can also get a room with a double or twin solution.) Breakfast is top notch, even for small guests. When we were there, there were only 10 guests on the first morning, yet they kept their promise of a buffet solution. There was a quality cold selection from paprika and winter salami to camembert cheese. The hot dishes changed daily, you could always choose from 4-5 types. It is especially commendable that in addition to this selection of hot dishes (sausages, mini Debrecen, bacon, letcho, scrambled eggs), the waitress herself pointed out that if they were to prepare a different type of egg dish, please. And what surpassed even our high expectations: fresh espresso coffee is recommended without request - and is included in the price of breakfast, as well as homemade cake pudding ..... It is commendable that guests can also use the upstairs terraces to sunbathe if they do not wish to descend to the garden pool. One thing to prepare for older guests like us is that due to the peculiarities of the castle building, there is no elevator in the house, so walking around the three levels involves a little flight of stairs. Even during your holiday at Lake Balaton, it is a nice remark that the hotel corridors are decorated with graphics with nice quotes. And perhaps most importantly: the guest feels good in the house where the staff feel good and they are happy with the guest's satisfaction ..... this can be said of everyone at the Phoenix Hotel from the handsome receptionist to the gardener .
