★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today I visited this cafe. The saleswoman, a woman with red curly hair, shouted something at me in Hungarian. I asked her if she spoke English. She began to convince me that this was a stupid question, that I had no right to ask it, since all educated people speak English. I explained to her that many people do not speak and this is a normal question. She yelled at me, accused me of being illiterate, and said goodbye to me in a heartfelt way. The dreadful service ruined the whole experience. But I really wanted to try this famous ice cream... Awful impression..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The lady with curly red hair was super unfriendly and unpolite. I literally just went inside to ask her if she had milkshakes since it's a gelateria. She told me that they obviously don't have it and that it was quite visible. (With a rude tone of voice)
Mine was just a question and she was really rude.
I'm Italian, so I'd say ice cream was decent but definitely too expensive. And I just bought it cause I wanted to seat. But would never come back or even recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid this place since the lady who serves the ice cream is unstable psycho. I asked her politely if she speaks English which is normal questions and she started verbally assaulting me. She said that I am embarrassing her and that she is joke to me. I wanted to explain her that I was trying to be polite but she was just spitting curses towards me. Then I left and felt really bad for next 2 hours. Total Karen or as we say in czech “piča jedna bláznivá”.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You want the best ice cream in Budapest? Then you must try fragola. Its a cozy shop with a few tables outside but the different flavors are what keeps me and my wife coming back. My favorite is to get one scoop of scicilian pistachio (the sugar free one) and one scoop of the chocolate nutella in either a cone or a cup. There is also a statue a few steps away which for a good photo opportunity. Enjoy the ice cream and feel like a part of the city.

However, they don’t accept card and don’t have a real price list. Every flavor has different prices, so you’re just playing a guessing game until the end. Portion sizes varies on the person who is serving you.
