A falu határában lévő Gulya csárdánál felállított mellszobor Túri Török Tibor alkotása, ezt a szobrász- és képzőművész ajánlotta fel az étteremnek, amit anno Futó Elemér ötlete nyomán építettek a fákkal körülölelt rétre. A Kis-Balaton őrzője, közismerten „Matula bácsija”, a magyar természetvédelem egyik jelentős alakja volt. Neki köszönhető többek közt, hogy tájvédelmi körzet lett annak idején a Kis-Balaton, majd a nemzeti park részévé vált. De a Fekete István emlékhely, a vörsi tájház és a kápolnapusztai bivalyrezervátum kilakításában is döntő érdemeket szerzett. A természetvédelmi felügyelő 32 évig volt a Balaton-felvidéki Nemzeti Park munkatársa.

The bust at the Gulya Tavern on the outskirts of the village is the work of Tibor Túri Török, a sculptor and fine artist who proposed it to the restaurant, built on the meadow surrounded by trees, based on the idea of Elo Futo. The guardian of Kis-Balaton, known as the "Uncle Matula", was a significant figure in Hungarian nature conservation. It is due to him, among other things, that it became a landscape protection area at that time in the Kis-Balaton, then it became part of the national park. But he also gained decisive merits in unveiling the István Fekete Memorial Site, the Vörs Country House and the Buffalo Reserve in Kápolnapuszta. The conservation officer was a member of the Balaton Uplands National Park for 32 years.
