In June 2013, the garda statue of the Munkácsy Prize-winning sculptor Attila Dienes was exhibited in the park next to the boat harbor, for which the money was created from public donations. The statue is mentioned by Herman Otto, who was a naturalist, ornithologist, ethnographer, archaeologist, polyhistor, and he disserted on the Balaton garden.
