The interesting thing about the group of statues of monks is that all three members were made by a different woodcarver. The work of the big-nosed Csaba Csávás, the hooded Beretvás Csanád, the bearded Major Lajos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Auf diesem kleinen Platz sind eigentlich nicht die Statuen so sehenswert, sondern die dahinter stehenden alten Häuser mit den Strohdächern. Das linke Haus ist noch traditionell bedeckt, am Giebel geflochten und hat eine sogenannte Katzenleiter an der Frontseite, das rechte Haus wurde schon in späterer Zeit neu nochmal mit Stroh bedeckt.
In this small square, it is not the statues that are really worth seeing, but the old houses with the thatched roofs behind them. The house on the left is traditionally covered, braided on the gable and has a so-called cat ladder on the front, the house on the right was re-covered with straw at a later date.
