This hill has probably one of the best views of the city. Save your money on a sky bar, get out in nature & hike your way to some amazing photos that you really EARNED! It’s a bit of a trek, especially from Pest, & you’ll likely be winded after the long walk uphill/ stairs, etc, but if the weather is right, & the time is right, you’ll be rewarded with an awesome panorama of Pest from the Buda side. The statue itself is unfortunately blocked off for construction, but the best views/ photos are mostly facing out from her anyway. I recommend trying to time your trip to the top just before sunset. Stick around to see the sun go down, & the lights come up, as the city comes alive for another evening of fun. Also, a good way to “top off” one of the many free walking tours of the Buda Castle district not TOO far away. Enjoy the view!

A lovely climb to the top for one of the most gorgeous views of Pest side. The liberty monument was closed for renovation during my visit. Lot of view points on the way and at the top. Must visit.

Stunning view from the comfortable walkways. Only if the roads and stairs were a little better maintained. Have your comfy walking shoes on!

A lovely recreational space, the hill has a network of paths. I recommend making a circular walk and ascending past the Waterfall on the North side, then coming back down past the Gellért Thermal Baths on the South side. Great views from viewpoints near the top of the Hill, if you've already seen the Pest side it's fun picking out all the places you've been like City Park and St Stephen's Basilica. On the South side near the Gellért Baths is a large children's play area. A good way to spend a morning on this hill.

Must to visit place in Budapest. It is big hill with plenty of paths and astonishing city view. Recommend to visit. I think better way to get there is from the south side of the city just from the street, it will me much easier. Going up from the river side is though, paths are going up and up, you could be tired.

It is a lovely climb to wake yourself up after the baths. The only bad thing was the citadel is closed. Doesn’t ruin the walk but would of been the cherry on top. Some lovely points for you to stop and take photos. Not to hard but you may need a few stops.

Short trek to the top of the hill. The view from the top is awesome. One can get panoramic view of the entire Budapest. The white bridge looks great while climbing. The road, pathway is clean and easy to climb. Best time is to go in the evening so that we can enjoy day view, stay there for sometime and enjoy night view of the city when the lights are on.

Great little hike in the green area, this big park is very nice and the view is amazing. The statues at the top are not accessible as of this time.. but the view is still worth it. When it gets dark you can see the city enlightened, the bridges and the river ?
