★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The site was under construction so it wasn’t possible to get closer to the statue but hiking up to the top of the hill was nice itself. It’s nice and worths the effort because you’ll have a nice view from the upper side of the city and also being into thecalm & peace of the nature.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good walk trough a very beautiful park will bring you to the top of Budapest. BUT... the liberty statue and the buildings arround it is.... as very much of Budapest... under construction, so you can't enter.... before the summer of 2023.

Unfortunately memorial itself was closed for the reconstruction, but we still have been able to enjoy breathtaking views of this amazing city. Nice place to go with kids since there are a plenty of playgrounds around. As well for hiking and jogging.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Despite being locked for renovations, the walk up the hill to the citadel was so worth it. The beauty of this area in plain autumn is beyond incredible. And the views over Budapest are simply amazing. Go and enjoy the walk, the views and the beauty around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Climbing up to Liberty Statue is a difficult chore, but the payback makes it all worth it. Choose a mild clear day and climb up early in the morning for clearer vistas. Once you make it to the top, the panorama at your feet will make you forget the arduous journey. There are various stops and lookout points on the way. Make sure to stop at most of them for different perspectives over the city that surrounds you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the kind off must visit view point in the city. Good place and one of the best location to have a panoramic view of the city. Lots of local stalls present to buy momentos to carry back home. Pleasant view but usually bustling with people.
