Just stayed there for 10 days with a family of 14. Had 8 rooms. The area in which hotel is located is great. But lots about the hotel was not so great. To start the staff not accommodating, knowledgeable, or friendly. Specially the night staff, mostly a thin short haired blonde lady. She would do nothing to help guest. You may interrupt her phone call or cigarette break! The breakfast was the exact same everyday for ten days. The toilet paper was the worst I have ever seen!!!! Suggestion BRING YOUR OWN. The maid service was awful. No continuity at all. Your room might get done up once every 3 days or so. You will only be allowed one bath towel and one hand towel. And don’t ask for extra they are always out no matter what the census of guest are there. So again bring your own! They regulate the so called air conditioners in your room by only giving you one key card to your room which you have to put in a card reader to get the air and lights to come on. So when you leave the room to get back in you have to tAke the key card with you, hence air condition off!! Out of 8 rooms only one refrigerator worked. It was very hot during our stay, we went through a lot of water for 14 people. They ran out. “So they say they did anyways “. With that many people paying for waters everyday you would think they would make sure they replenished it to make the sales. But no! We would go to the store and buy waters but would have no way of keeping them cold. They would not fix or replace refrigerators. They just didn’t care. The very first night we checked in they put one of our family members in a room that had the stench of death in it. When we complained about it they did not want to move them to a different room. After a bit they did but made them move back in it the next morning after they said they cleaned the room. But of course same stench. Again had to pack up and move to a different room again. This time we found out the owner knew about the smell from many guests who complained but still did nothing about it. Again our family member was told they would have to move rooms again. It wasn’t until a Hungarian relative had to call and complain to get our family member to not have to move rooms again. Finally that got to stay in one room. But who knows if they ever fixed that room. Not once in ten days did we see anyone working on that room. Room number117 in case you ever stay there. The only other good thing about this hotel besides the location is the pool. It was very nice and relaxing. But again not everything worked in all the pools either. But still usable. So hope this either helps the owner fix a few things or helps future guests to pick a better place or make sure you bring a few necessities to survive your stay!

Clean rooms, spacious enough, OK place to spend the night Breakfast: very disappointing, for the price requested - just a few cold cuts and eggs.

Old and iconic place in Győr, which offers good value for money. It has sports and wellness amenities, which we haven't tried this time, but seemed like we had many great options. Breakfast was good with healthy options and good quality ingredients. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are tidy and cozy, but the furniture and the style are a little old-school for my taste.

The service at hotel was well below standard. No aircondition so the temperature in the room was 25 degrees. The bathroom fan made a lot of noise but nothing else. Limited breakfast selection

Such a disappointment to have a hotel that offers to its guests sport and wellness facilities (unique in the area) and not to be able to keep the hotel nice & clean. The gym had spiders, the carpet not cleaned in ages and there were dead flies on the wall in my room's shower. On top of that I didn't like the fact that the checkout was 11am (too early for me and the personnel did not accept to extend it by one hour when I politely asked). To the management: you have good material, it's up to you to make the difference and improve the quality of your guests' experience.

The hotel is great. We have stayed in a standard room and it was way above average for Hungary. The gym of this Hotel can compete with any standard Gym, but it's way better than most hotel gyms. The wellness part is small but very nice. There are 2 jakuzzies and one larger pool. The saunas are nice and clean. My only problem was that there is drinking water by the saunas but there are no glasses provided. The receptionists are a bit slow and they have misread our reservation multiple times. All in all its a great Hotel. I'd recommend it to anyone!

For me never ever a 4 *Hotel. Its ok, meals are ok, Restaurant closes at 21 !!!! o clock. Rooms are ok, Bed and blanket not good. Small and very thin. The worst is the light and lamp situation. You have a desk in the room, but no light on it. For romantic it might be nice, if you have to work you find no place in the whole hotel with normal lamps and sufficient light. Even the bed lamps are difficult, if you want to read. The service is ok. Maybe 3 stars is nearer to reality. Parking for free.

A pleasant weekend break on their spa package. A nice hotel that was clean, older style furnishings in the restaurant and reception that are welcoming and a style I personally like. English spoken by almost all staff that we dealt with. The spa was clean and has good sauna and steam rooms with jet pools and swimming, all at a good temperature. The restaurant offered very good looking food, although we don't eat meat, but the chef did prepare us a tasty vegetable dish. We were caught out slightly by the wording of the package offer, we read it as you get an evening meal and a bottle of wine on both nights, but it is only on one of them. Breakfast had a very good choice to suit all tastes, Sausage, bacon, fried and scrambled eggs etc. Plus choice of 3 cereals, but take your own plant milk if that is what you use. There was also a large choice of cold meats, cheese, fruit, yoghurt, croissant and toast. Decent coffee too. I would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room but overall we were pleased with the experience and will return. The location of close to the railway station and the city centre was a bonus. There is also free parking available.
