★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Váci múmiák elnevezéssel a váci Fehérek templomának 1994-es felújítása során megtalált 265 természetes úton mumifikálódott emberi maradványt, valamint további 40 személy csontmaradványát illetik. Az egész világon ritkaságszámba megy, hogy ennyi természetesen mumifikálódott holttest maradjon fönn. A 265 múmia sorban elhelyezett és egymásra helyezett díszes fakoporsóban feküdt. A koporsón feltüntették a nevet, halál dátumát és némelyiken az okát is. A feltáráskor ez alapján tudták beazonosítani a személyeket.
Váci mummies refer to the 265 naturally mummified human remains found during the renovation of the White Church in Vác in 1994, as well as the bone remains of an additional 40 people. It's going to be a rarity around the world to keep so many naturally mummified bodies. The 265 mummies lay in a row of ornate wooden coffins placed on top of each other. The coffin had the name, the date of death, and some of them the reason. At the time of the discovery, they were able to identify the persons on this basis.
