First, hard to find. Maybe you should update Mammut Info Map and the elevator that you have moved your entrance, because it still says 4th floor. Also finding the entrance on the 3rd floor is difficult… get a sign mad wir something. This place isn’t for anyone that doesn’t do climbing as sports or professionally. They have one small spot that can be done by “any” climber that just want to try it out. Most of the walls are absolutely ridiculous, have like 3-5 spots and even the ones that can climb avoided those, while they crowded the “easier” ones and you couldn’t try them yourself. Lots of money wasted for 5 minutes of actual climbing and an hour of trying to get a turn at easier walls but never succeeding to get a turn. Definitely don’t recommend at all.

Gravity bouldering gym, even compare to other gyms in big cities around Europe is quite amazing. It is a huge space with variety of routes for both beginners and advanced climbers??

Edit: renovated gym is awesome. Entrance to he right from cinema halls (pic) ——————— Great gym but overpriced compared to others in Budapest.

Pros: Good variety and difficulty of routes, spacious lockers. Cons: Lack of security, overwhelmed staff, small gym. Detailed comment: Context: I went with my brother on a Saturday afternoon (usually off-peak) and the gym was very crowdy. We waited a long time at the entry (10-15 minutes) and the staff was not very concerned. The same feeling as been experienced by other members of my family who came watching. They found it complicated to order drinks (which is a bit paradoxical for a bar lol). Entrance: Once entered into the gym you can go in the lockers on the second floor. A plus of this gym is that you have lockers and they give you a lock and a pass. The lockers are quite big (we were two and used only one locker). Climbing: The climbing zone is composed of two-stages with a ground floor climbing and Ninja zone and a second floor with only climbing walls. They have quite a variety of routes and different levels of difficulty. My advice is to avoid taking the ninja supplement as it is accessible for everyone even if you don't pay for it. In the climbing area, we struggled to find the grades. It seems you have to look at the stickers colour below and look at the indications to know more about the difficulty. The start area of routes is also very confusing. Most of the time we didn't know if we had to start with one or two hands (a majority of routes surprisingly started with one hand). The gym was full and it was difficult to access routes. Climbers were not really respecting each other. They just tried to reach the next boulder as fast as they could. Security: The security in this gym is absent and it seems that climbers of all levels can enter without really knowing basic safety rules. No mention of rules has been made by staff nor are any member of staff monitoring the climbing. This was problematic for us due to inexperienced or careless climbers who started a route right below us or so close to us that it was crossing our route. We had to abort few climbing attempts because of these security issues which was very frustrating. Conclusion: Overall my experience at Gravity Boulder bar was pretty bad and I don't recommend this gym at all. My guess is that the gym more focused by the money of its climbers than the climbing spirit and the well-being of its customers. Security is non-negotiable in climbing and it seems that in Hungary the standards are pretty low. My experience is anecdotal and may not reflect the experiences of others. AT YOUR OWN RISKS!

Amazing experience and for us actually the main reason why to visit Budapest again. Creative boulder problems, ninja warior and the sauna are great combination. Plus very helpful and kind staff ? The only disadvantage is, that it takes 5 hours to get there and now I can't enjoy sauna after my bouldering sessions.

One of the best boulder places in Budapest. Good atmosphere, friendly staff, lots of climbing space. They have a nice bar too! Works with AYCM cards too and you can go for courses too. Highly recommended!

The best bouldering gym(bar) in Budapest for its accessible location and value ? The walls are clean, colored boulder routes are updated few times in a month. There's spray wall and Moonboard with lights in top floor for your training needs. After renovation bottom floor got a new wall with relatively challenging routes. You can try yourself in Ninja obstacle course or do some training/stretching upstairs. When you got tired just hit the bar for some craft beer or snacks to replenish your energy reserves ? Gravity is awesome bouldering place with great staff and everything you need for your climbing needs ?

I love this place, clean, tidy and organized. Ventilated and the right temperature. Staff were lovely and fun, they spoke perfect English, the instructor explained everything in details, he even created a path for us in the training wall! Not the easiest but you wouldn't get bored, challenging and fun! On of the best wall climbing places I visited! A must, Cheers!
