The place was recently renovated and looks respectable, this year all the trees in the cemetery were also removed, but a sign with a guard's phone number is missing and so we had to climb over the gate and enter

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2017. májusban ünnepélyesen átadták a "Hősök és mártírok" Zsidó Kulturális Kegyeleti Emlékparkot Gyöngyösön, melyet a régi zsidó temetőből alakítottak ki. Ahogy az átadáson is fogalmaztak, az emlékpark csak 30 %-ban készült el. A területet még nem tudták teljesen megtisztítani a gaztól. Egyelőre nem látogatható, csak kívülről tudtam fényképezni. Így is nagyon érdekes és gondolatébresztő hely, ajánlom megtekintésre. Remélhetőleg a lelkesedés nem hagy alább, s hamarosan látogatható emlékparkot nézhetünk meg.
In May 2017, the Jewish Heritage Memorial Park "Heroes and Martyrs" in Gyöngyös was formally opened from the old Jewish cemetery. As stated at the handover, only 30% of the memorial park was completed. The area could not be completely cleaned of steam. Not yet open, I could only photograph from outside. Still a very interesting and thought-provoking place, I recommend it for viewing. Hopefully the enthusiasm will not let you down and see a soon to be visited memorial park.
