Staff want to get money for everything, you want to have clean forks an knives for breakfast? pay 10 Euro extra - maybe they will wash them. If you will be late at night - nobody will answer your phone and no one will open the door for You. Accomodation only till 11 p.m. (Even when You pay extra). The people from Reception are very unnice, and people from reastaurant will try to get every single coin you have from You. Not for groups!

Rooms are ok, could be cleaner. There is a small bathroom in each of the rooms. Breakfast is disappointing, 2 kinds of salami and one kind of cheese. The bread was stale and coffee was of the instant type. Upside is the low price.

I spent 7 days in that hotel in january 2019 with my girlfriend. The staff at the reception was very kind, probably because I was speaking hungarian, I have hungarian roots. But I noticed that their english is not so good, when my girlfriend asked them something, she doesn't speak hungarian. Anyways they were honest and told us that the room we booked is the cheapest they have and on the top floor. The room really looked like that, but just for sleeping was ok, we were mostly outside the whole day. We weren't too happy about the breakfast, every day someone else was prepairing it and not every day was good. One morning we had a very unfriendly waitress there. We asked her to bring some more cups for coffee and she brought just one, but we needed too. She wasn't just unfriendly but also lazy. Then one day we wanted to go eat dinner into the hotel restaurant and discovered tht they don't even have a restaurant, but at least they told us where we could go to eat. So good that I payed my reservation in advance, otherwise we could miss the train home on the day of leaving. The reception didn't start working before 10.30 and our train was at 8.30. So good that everything was payed already. Anyways this hotel has a good location, but that is also everything it has to offer, the rest is one big disappointment, so I wouldn't recommend it unless you are staying 2 days maximum, because that you could handle.

The place was decent. Fairly long away from the city center though. The rooms was alright, could have been better though. Do not open the windows at night as the train runs close by and make quite a bit of noise. The breakfast was fine, and the nearby restaurant we were recommended by the receptionist was very good.

Currently here. My brother's bed was broken. One of the slats fell off when he sat down. He actually took the time to put it back on and then it and another one both fell off. Reception is open only 3-6pm (15:00-18:00) and they do not answer their phone even during that time. According to Expedia we could store luggage but there wasn't anyone there before 3pm. Heat turned up so high we could barely breathe. Towel hook in bathroom broken. Woman at reception wasn't wearing a mask any of the three times we walked through (Hungary currently has a mask mandate for indoors and 99% of the people I've seen have been complying.) Main light in the room - only one of three bulbs works. Who knows what other joys we will discover in the next few days. **Updated to add** While writing this, one of the slats on my bed fell off.

For a short stay on a budget this place is good. 5 minutes away from two good restaurants and a supermarket and only 20 minutes walk into town. The owners are friendly and welcoming and the room I had was spacious with a nice view. Amenities are very basic but since I was spending most of my time exploring the city anyway that didn’t really matter. The bed was comfortable, the shower was decent and the towels were clean. My only criticism is that the WiFi didn’t work in my room and there was no hairdryer
