Nice hotel with lots of dining options in the vicinity. The breakfast at the hotel is not pretty good but overall comfortable stay is rest assured.

The hotel is not too big but it's enough for such a small town. The people that works there are kind towards the customers but the meals are not appropriate for my culture as a Turkish.

A little bit old fashioned, but a very nice hotel. The food is correct, the service is acceptable. Good value/price ratio. The only problem, I found is, that the walls between rooms are very thin. You can easily hear what is going on in your next door.

(disclaimer: these are all my personal opinions. I tried to be as objective as possible but different people have different needs and expectations. Bear that in mind.) Location 10/10 Right in the city center, so if this is a must for you, read no further. Staff 9/10 Everyone is kind, smiling and helpful. Cleanliness 8/10 Lobby is clean, rooms are clean, altough there are some dirty spots on the carpeting. Food 8/10 Food is tasty but the variety is not too huge (doesn't really matter imo). Plain chairs (little creaky) and tables in the diner. Wellness 5/10 It's tiny. I know, it's not really a wellness hotel, true, but still. There was not much steam in the steam room, vibe of the wellness part was out of date, some people didn't receive gowns because they ran out of gowns. The lady who was working in the wellness part was absolutely adorable and kind. Overall 7.5/10 You get what you pay for. It's a relatively nice hotel for the price and otherwise too (around €30/person/night with breakfast and dinner). There is some nice antique furniture all around the hotel. Center is close, most of the things worth seeing are easily approachable by walking. Some parts inside are a little worn, scuffed but you can only notice it if you pay close attention (not a big deal, just saying). Drawbacks: nothing really (maybe wellness-wise? But if that doesn't matter for you then nothing). Places to visit if you're here: Csokiszeg (chocolate delicacy shop in the center), castle, Szent Jakab church, Sacred Heart church (the big one in the main square), "Tejbolt és Tejivó" (also in the center, "Milkshop and Milkbar"). There's a museum but I haven't been inside so I can't review.

Nice hotel right in the city centre. The walls between the rooms are somewhat thin, so you might hear your neighbours. My carpet had some spots, but overall felt clean. Free Wi-Fi (also in room) was a pleasant surprise!

We spent Christmas at the Hotel Irottkő and they hosted an amazing Christmas Eve dinner and Chritmas Day breakfast. They put together a little entertainment with a singer and a pianist. On Boxing Day we even received a 2 hour tour in the historic old town and got free mulled wine to keep us warm on the chilly walk.

My daughter and I are staying in this hotel now in the room 205. This is not a new hotel but it's charm is just in his age. The reception hall is very large and spaced. We are very pleased with the hotel and place where it is located. The room is very clean, enaugh large, the towels and sheets are snow white. The receptionist is very kind lady. Thank you for our rest.

For business trip it is ok. Hoyelnis in the center...nice place
