Good restaurant, nice food but lacks some charm very business oriented

i just want to start off by saying that this is the first bad review that i've even written, but i really feel the need to do this. first of all, the staff did not speak english and was not very friendly or welcoming. when we got there, we had lunch at their restaurant, and we were the only ones there. there were pictures all over the hotel of salmon at the restaurant, but the only fish they had on the menu was fish and chips. i have allergies, so i didn't get anything (because there was nothing that i could eat on the menu), but my dad and brothers got the fish and chips and it was tiny pieces of gross fish with the skin on it, and it took and hour for it to come, even though we were the only people there, and it was frozen and all they had to do we reheat it. then, our room was so hot it felt like a sauna. we turned the thermostat as cold as it was able to go, but i still barely slept because it was so hot. i was sleeping on the futon which was 6 inches off the ground, and was as hard as a doctors table. the room did not come with any shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles, it came with a 2 in 1 shampoo/body wash gel that squirted out of a soap dispenser, and was so liquidy that it didn't wash anything. they did not have any conditioner, and the chlorine smell would not wash off of me, no matter how many times i washed myself. the shower was very small, and it leaked all over the bathroom even though the door was closed very tight. the hotel also claimed to have a private beach, but when we looked for it, all we found was rocks and the lake. overall we did NOT have a good stay at this hotel, (even though we were only there for 1 night!!) and do not plan to return.

The hotel is located right next to the lake Balaton. The design is contemporary rooms and social places are nice. Staff is very friendly. I recommend the place for families, sailors or Organisators of business gatherings. Food is kind of average.

Like the room, its very big with a spacious balcony. We've tried the spa, jacuzzi, sauna, salt room, enjoyed it. Location is ideal. Walking distance to town and on the beach. Food is nothing special, I know that season is finished but not much choices. Hoping for breakfast tomorrow. Had to go out to eat something.

Waterfront hotel, but opens to lake channel so not directly facing lake. Staff was kind and professional. Layout is a bit of a maze of hallways suggesting a lot of add-ons over the years. Nice courtyard. Poor fitness "gym" but decent wellness area and some fun little game areas. Rooms seemed clean and well kept.

What a gem in Siofok, truly deserves every star. Well maintained, clean everywhere, and great views. Nice pool & in the basement there are saunas and steam rooms. Staff is amazing. The buffet is exceptional, different food everyday and every meal, my hats off to the chef. Even offered very classic Hungarian fare.

Disappointing hotel which is in reality a mediocre 3* level instead of 4. I wish it had a management who understands what a quality resort with such an amazing potential could offer. We nevertheless appreciated the staff who were always friendly and helpful, and the location/view is great, along with the nice sauna/spa section and indoor pool. Food (breakfast & dinner) was unfortunately “school canteen” level, with many options but cheap and low quality selection. Our rooms were very small despite being “superior”. The air conditioning was weak and loud in the rooms. Though the hotel says that “kids are VIP”, there isn’t much to do for them indoors other than the Xbox and ping-pong as in the pool under-14 year olds are only allowed in the toddler area but not in the main pool without an accompanying adult. The kids’ playroom is an afterthought, and the “gym” is just a joke. A pity that it has no outdoor pool, and no real private beach other than their partner hotel’s which is nevertheless messy and not well taken care of. The hotel says it’s “dog friendly” but compared to other such hotels that make small efforts to welcome your furry friend, this one is at most “dog tolerant”. (Though it’s not the hotel’s decision, no beach in the area allows dogs, even on a leash.) We won’t be coming back.

This hotel is well positioned near the balaton lake. Nothing is missing in the hotel except the fact that my room 05 seems an old one. This is not the cleanest room I have booked. Also electric cables are visible and the bathroom was old (door a little bit destroyed, fan very noisy, ground was not clean). And having the cleaning done in the corridor at 6am is not the best way to have a good rest (very noisy). The rest was good with a good breakfast, good beer at the bar of the lobby, beautiful pool (even if I have no time to test it), good people welcoming us and managing the checkout, large private parking to park the car and a beautiful view on the lake. I think it can be good for a family trip but not in the same room (request for a room not at ground floor with a direct view on the lake).
