One of the best places to get yourself a mastered poured Czech beer in Budapest.

Good place to try Czech beer, very tasty ones!!! It's a shame that the waiter was a little bit rude when we wanted to pay, was trying to rush the process.

The worst place I've been in Budapest lately. The staff was so rude to us. Don't waste your time and money there

What a disappointment. Used to be a good place, now you walk in and they look at you like you are disturbing them. Also, they seem to have this weird policy that even if the tables are free you have to sit next to others at a shared table. I get this works if the place would be crowded, but thats usually not the case (understandably). What a disappointment. Spend your money somewhere else (e.g liquid rock just opposite)

Good Beer, but it needs everyday care and some skills on the bar. It is a little bit strange to find this kind of pub in Budapest ? Especially I like the small picture of the Litomyšl town square, probably from 19. century.

The waiter's terrible manner and the overpriced food did really make this an unforgettable night. We were handled like annoying little brothers, the menu was not up-to-date and when we ordered something that they were out of, we were handled as we should have known what's actually on their cooking plate. My short-sighted friend was told to sit closer to the board over the counter in order to figure something out what she could possibly order. After a period of utter confusion I asked what can we eat here. The reply was shockingly arrogant: "This is a söröző [a palace for drinking beer]". The why the hell do they have a menu with food on it? Eventually, after an unpleasant series of encounter with the waiter, I was finally able to order something from the board across the room. Some fried flour with mustard and onions, for more than 4€. Rubbish.

We made a reservation over phone and found out on spot that you have to reserve their only main course, prok knee in order to get one. Even though we made the reservation over phone, they didn't ask if we wanted to eat their main course. This in itself wouldn't make the place 1/5 stars, however after ordering 3 rounds of the other food (mainly appetizers) the waiter came and said: "Jó sokat tudtok kérni" - which translates to "You really keep ordering a lot!" which was quite inproper coming from a waiter and sounded quite offensive in Hungarian.
