Tanácstalanul nézegettem, hajlítgattam a cipők talpát, rugalmas talpút kerestem. A feleségem, és én is kinéztünk egy-egy cipőt, amiről úgy gondoltuk, hogy jó lehet (ebben is jó lett volna segítség). Egyetlen eladó sem jött oda, hogy segítsen, pedig rajtunk kívül nem volt vásárló az üzletben. Amikor szóltunk, hogy szeretnénk megfelelő méretet a feleségem által választott cipőből, a szőke eladó hölgy elment a raktárba megnézni. Kifelé jövet, csak úgy foghegyről oda vetette, hogy már csak 40 -es, és 41 -es méret van belőle. Azután mint aki jól végezte dolgát, visszament a másik két kollégájához a pólókat rendezgetni. Azt meg nem kérdezte, hogy segíthet-e még valamiben, vagy talán ajánlhat-e másik modellt ahelyett amiből nem volt méret, vagy tőlem megkérdezte volna, hogy nekem sikerült-e választani. Ott álltam az általam választott cipővel a kezemben, hogy majd én is kérek méretet belőle, és csak néztem utána, ahogy elsuhant mellettünk, és ott hagyott a poros álláson. Részéről ennyi volt a kiszolgálás, hogy megnézte, a raktárban van-e a kért méret. Persze, mehettem volna segítségért kuncsorogni ismét, hátha ráér foglalkozni a vásárlóval, de olyan furcsa, és kellemetlen volt a szituáció, hogy inkább kifordultunk az üzletből, miután jeleztem az elégedetlenségemet a pénztárban álló eladókkal.
