Felépült az Istenháza, s azóta folyamatosan korszerűsítik, szépítik. 1986-ban helyére emelték a földön összeszerelt toronysisakot. Az utóbbi négy évben felújították az elektromos hálózatot, hangerősítőket szereltek fel, s a fűthető templomban télen sem kell dideregniük az imádságos lelkületű híveknek. Takács István mezőkövesdi templomfestő 1982-ben elkészítette a freskókat, a keresztút képeit. Az oltárképen egy régi isaszegi népviseletbe öltözött család, az 1849-es híres csata tüzére és vörössipkás katonája láthatók. Ők a tanúi a főjelenetnek, amint István a Szűzanya oltalmába ajánlja az országot. Az országban egyedül itt örökítették meg a vörössipkások emlékét, s a képhez azóta is elzarándokolnak mai utódaik."

"In 1937, the foundation stone of the new St. Stephen's Church in Isaszeg was laid.
The House of God has been rebuilt, and since then it has been constantly modernized and beautified. In 1986, the tower helmet assembled on the ground was replaced. In the last four years, the electrical network has been renovated, sound amplifiers have been installed, and prayer-minded devotees do not have to tremble in the heated church in winter. In 1982, the church painter István Takács from Mezőkövesd made the frescoes and the pictures of the cross. The altarpiece shows a family dressed in old Isaszeg folk costumes, the fire of the famous battle of 1849 and its red-lipped soldier. They witness the main scene as Stephen recommends the country to the protection of Our Lady. The only thing left in the country is the memory of the red-breasted people, and their descendants have been making a pilgrimage to the picture ever since. "
