Az Istállós-kői barlangtól aránylag könnyen megközelíthető, Szilvásváradtól a barlang feljáratáig korláttal szegélyezett lépcső szegélyezi a meredek utat (zöld háromszög útvonal), ezt követve feljuthatunk Istállós-kőig. A Szilvásváradról vezető út szép bükkösön visz fel, de néha a jelzést nehéz megtalálni. It’s not worth going up because of the panorama, it was more of a sporting value for this tour. The road from Szilvásvárad takes you up a nice beech forest, but sometimes the sign is hard to find.
