★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Housed in a recently modernised building this is my favourite theatre in Budapest. As far as I know it presents only shows in Hungarian and it is really hard to anjoy for a foreigner. But anyway the team, which includes younger and older actors and actrisses is simply perfect. With my friends and family we have a season ticket and always looking forward to the next show. I do recommend for everybody to go to at least one of their shows. I am sure, you will not be disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely, small theatre. Most plays are in Hungarian. Unique selection, a class of its own. The facilities are okay/average the staff are young, friendly and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice place to be. In the breaks you can buy stuff to eat and drink, these are relatively expensive but still payable. There isnt a lot of space for everyone in the break but you can find some open spots. The seats are comfortable but you dont have a lot of space for your arm, you also share an armrest with the people next to you. You can see from every seat, but I still recommend sitting in the middle on the ground floor. I would recommend going here once or twice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For those who are into obscure out-of-the-box as well as revisited traditional plays, this is the place to visit. The theatre was named after Hungary's greatest writer in grotesque comedy.
The theatre hall has been renovated to its original 1930s art deco design, which is a sound technical and architectural achievement in itself.
(Plays are mostly in Hungarian, some are with subtitles.)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff are polite and swift. The scanning process is quick. The queues end quickly. The production Theatre team of the Hamle play which I attended is highly commendable in terms of acting quality and sense of humor. The stage is quite small though and the scenery and clothes never change and are poor in quality. The translation screen is also small and is the only one for the whole balcony that attended the play with English subtitles. Overall, the experience was good and enjoyable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So nice! Lots of Budapest was closed down when I went meaning that a lot of people were late. Not only did they start the show later to accommodate but everyone was alsp beyond kind and helpful. The performance (we went to see Secondhand) was also really moving and interesting!
