ARC. Béla escaped the battle of the losing muhi thanks to the self-sacrifice and heroism of his defenders. Before reaching the safe monastery of Bélapátfalva, according to legend, his heroes here, at the Horse Cleansing, still clashed with the persecuting Tartars.
In 1994, the work of the sculptor Ferenc Farkas from Zalaegerszeg was erected to commemorate the battle.

The monument is in a beautiful location, it would be worth everyone to walk and relax. The captions were very helpful.

It is conveniently located a 15-minute walk from the bus stop and a few minutes from the healing stones. It is located in a quiet place on the edge of the meadow and is worth a look if you go for it.

In Bükkszentkereszt, the IV. We also visited the Béla monument during a long walk. The monument is in a field. We sat down on a nearby bench and listened to the chirping of birds, talking about historical events. It is good to explore such places as well.
