★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kéktúra állomásként egy éjszakara szólt a foglalás, a melléképület foglaltam a neten, de a házigazda felajánlotta, hogy bárhol lehet aludni, mert üres a ház:) jó volt a melléképület, regiesy stílusos berendezés, tágas minden terem, tiszta az egész hely. A főépület is jól néz ki, ott modernebb a berendezés. Ajánlom!
As a blue tour station for one night the booking was for, I booked the annex online, but the host offered to sleep anywhere because the house was empty :) the annex was good, regiesy stylish furnishings, all rooms were spacious, the whole place was clean. The main building also looks good, the equipment is more modern. I recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ha örök életet nem is (a vendégház pontos neve nem János, hanem János 3.16), de nyugodt pihenést mindenképp kaphat, aki Bódvarákón, ebben az apró, csendes faluban itt száll meg az országos kéktúra vonalán. Télvíz idején kerestünk helyet magunknak, előzékeny és kedves szállásadónk annak ellenére is kinyitotta a melléképületet, hogy a főépületet nem üzemeltetik. A nyugalom így tökéletes volt, a fűtés inkább romantikus, mint kényelmes fával, vaskályhában – de tudtuk, hogy mit vállalunk. Jó volt az ár-érték arány!
Even if you don't have eternal life (the exact name of the guest house is not János, but János 3.16), you can definitely get a peaceful rest in Bódvarák, in this small, quiet village on the national blue tour. We were looking for a place for ourselves during the winter, our courteous and kind landlord opened the outbuilding despite the fact that the main building is not in operation. The tranquility was so perfect, the heating with romantic rather than comfortable wood in an iron stove - but we knew what we were undertaking. The value for money was good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I spent a night at this place on my long distance hiking tour through Hungary. I booked via booking.com. The lady who welcomed me spoke only Hungarian but we got along quite well with the help of google translate. The room was nice with quaint furniture. The bathroom was huge. There also were some kitchen facilities. I spent a quiet night - apparantely being all by myself in the whole house - and left early in the morning.
