Best Hungarian restaurant in Hungary

R	Radoslav Azmanov on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice place. Nice food, good fish and it is just before the border with Serbia. Perfect place for rest. Additional plus is that kids can throw bread in the lake and watch ducks and big fish eating it.

Inside the restaurant restaurant many Hungarian people here.The location was a bit far from the main road, but they have the English menu and the fish soup tasted good. The cost each people was ~3000 including the drink.
I	Ivaylo Marinov on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting and nice restaurant because of the outside terrace and traditional kitchen with Terrace has a view to the lake. We did not had the chance to sit outside cause weather was not very friendly. Food is good although is not my type of cooking. We tried the traditional fish soup for that region and fried carp fish. Soup was made from three different types of fish as the traditional receipt says :) served in big bucket for four people. Bread is very good. Apple Rakiq-we enjoyed for sure. In general we had a good experience there. Definitely is a place to visit.
A	Alma Ess on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped here at the last minute on our way back to the hotel. The building sits right next to a lake which has a beautiful view. I'm sure if you go during the day, there will be lots of wildlife to see. We had decided on fish crackling as an appetizer but when the time came, my husband ordered fish tartare. I don't do raw fish so hubby ate this by himself but said it was very tasty. Our meal was one of the meals for two which had stuffed turkey, chicken, french fries, pork chops topped with a fried egg. EVERYTHING on the platter was flavorful and was WAY more food than we could eat! I would recommend this as a dinner stop while visiting Szeged.
M	Martin Cavina on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I definitely recommend this place. Absolutely amazing local food. Very typical hungarian restaurant. Mainly for fish eaters. The Halaszle is the best I had in Hungary. They have catfish dishes which are amazing. Thanks a lot for the nice experience.
