Az a túrázó, aki Dobogókő irányából jön erre fele a Prédikálószék és a Vadálló-kövek irányából, az először itt szembesül azzal, hogy elfogyott a magával hozott vízkészlete, s itt próbálná meg feltölteni a kulacsát. De sok esetben csak próbálná, mert ha jön is belőlle víz, akkor csak szivárog, vagy csak érként folyik. Egyszóval két lehetőség van:
1. kitérőt tenni Dömös irányába az első vízvételi lehetőségig - ami biztos! -, vagy:
2. továbbhaladni a Rám-szakadék irányába, ahol talán talál magának egy működő és iható vízfakadást... ? ?

A közelben lévő pihenő padok viszont már nincsenek ilyen jó állapotban, van amelyik annyira szétesőben van, hogy ha valaki rákönyököl, akkor az asztalon lévő tárgyak mind az ölébe borulnak, az asztallappal együtt.
A forrást gyalogosan két felé képen lehet megközelíteni. A könyebbik verzió az, amikor az aszfaltozott úton gyalogolnak a forrásig, de akkor lemaradnak az érdekesebb látnivalókról. A nehezebb, de szebb útvonal viszont az erdei ösvény, ami látnivalókban gazdagabb (pl barlangból kifolyó patak, forrás).
