Érdemes más irányból megközelíteni. (Mátraderecske előtt kb 1km-re balra kis gazos földút, vaddisznó túrta tisztáson parkoláso lehetőség, majd gyalogosan át és fel a szúrós bozóton.) A kilátás tényleg szép. The road runs through the Mátraderecske Gypsy Mountains. Therefore, I do not recommend the path L for either dog-hikers or white people. It is worth approaching from another angle. (1 km to the left of Mátraderecske, a small dirt road to the left, a wild boar tour at the clearing, then walking on and off the stinging boating.) The view is really nice.

Jó kilátás, a várból a lentről is látható toronymaradványon kívül csak 1 helyen találtam még felismerhető falazást. It’s hard to climb, 0 maintenance on the trail just like at the ruin. Átvezet a helyi cigánysoron ami betekintést nyújt a rendkívül rossz körülmények között élő emberek életébe. Később pedig bozótos és igen meredek út vezet a várhoz de megéri felmászni mert szép a kilátás. The tourist sign "L" starts from Mátraderecske in front of the brick factory to Kanzsavár. It leads through the local gypsy line, which provides insight into the lives of people living in extremely poor conditions. Later, a bushy and very steep road leads to the castle but it is worth climbing because the view is beautiful.

A természet visszavette, ami az övé, ami alapvetően nem lett volna gond, csak épp a rom nem ért meg annyi szenvedést, mint amit ez a néhol szúrós, tüskés, magasra nőtt növényekkel tarkított terep nyújtott. Azt tanácsolom a kevésbe mazochista egyéneknek, hogy az ide felrakott képekben gyönyörködjenek, ennyi bőven elég. Ha mégis elindulnak és túljutnak a gazon, egy meglepően meredek emelkedő (ami visszafelé egy rohadt durva lejtő) vár önökre. Mondom ezt úgy, hogy nem vagyok kocaturista. Sok sikert! Ui.: Az idevezető, még beton út kétes egyéneket, putrit is tartalmaz. "Wildly romantic" ... so the hiking trail is pretty much a thing of the past.
