According to the record, the Árpádian rotunda of Kerekszenttamás dates back to the 12th century. century. Its walls were erected from dolomite mined in the area. The dolomite was held together by lime slaked between the stones. With this technique, many cellars in excellent condition were built in the area in the past. The village was depopulated and destroyed during the Turkish occupation. It is surrounded by a small pagan, full of wild lace bushes. There is no trace of the rosehip jam picked here a few years ago. I love the historic ruins but unfortunately this place has no owner. The board is a thousand years old, faded and unreadable. I think it deserves a lot more attention.

We found a parking lot opposite the already unused gas station below, there is no separate parking lot. From here you could already see the destination of our trip. After a quick change of shoes, we started on a small field towards the ruin, our skin was peppered by a light wind, but the sunshine forgot about this inconvenience. The ruin was located on top of a small hill. His approach did not cause any particular problems. We arrived by bypassing bushes and smaller ditches. It was a popular place for animals based on traces found on the ground, and the bark of the trees also revealed big game. Unfortunately, the board is already very worn out, but my partner and I deciphered it. Team strength. The ruin itself is reminiscent of times gone by. It provides a simple sight. It feels like a pleasant aura. We walked a lot along this route, an old booted dream came true. It doesn’t take much time and is free to visit.
