A terület díszítésére Melocco Miklós szobrászművészt kérte fel... A rendezés során nem csak a városképet vették figyelembe, hanem azt is, hogy hangulatos, nyugodt környezetet biztosítsanak a pihenni vágyók számára. '
Az alkotás anyaga édesvízi mészkő, témája ismert, a szobrász kívánságára kapta a Kilus-kút nevet.
