★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are nice hiking routes in the area. The restaurant is popular among hikers. It's a traditional Hungarian style restaurant, but on the positive side. Nothing fancy but you can fill your stomach after a tiring walk in the hills for a reasonable price. Table reservation is recommended since it can be crowded when the weather is nice. Dogs are allowed on leash.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We found this gem 10 years ago and still visiting them from time to time. Location is excellent but rather to be visited by car, public transportation is periodic around. The location is excellent, the restaurant is in the woods with nice terrace and playground for the kids. The menu is reflecting Hungarian kitchen and the hosts and waiters/waitresses are always nice and welcoming. Price is moderate, portions are huge and delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately the new owners have not maintained the quality of the food, it was a tasteless meal with mediocre service. I live locally and have been coming regularly for over 6 years. They used to have extensive menu, and all the food was very tasty. The new menu is very small, and the venison stew which is normally a richly flavoured dish tasted like boiled meat with a simple sauce. We were so disappointed with our meal and experience, we will not return after being very loyal customers.

5 star for the waiter
5 star for the food and drink
They even have a special IPA beer too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant was the only place where i felt real Hungarian vibes, from the food to the service. So far best restaurant i have ever tried in Hungary, food was amazing and the prices are really affordable. The location is pretty amazing.
Tip: try going when the sun is still out to have the best experience.
