Our story. We arrived at the office with a 14-year-old Yorkie. Examination revealed that he had an eye ulcer allegedly from an inward rotation of the lower eyelid due to aging. For this reason, laser eye surgery and a lower eyelid surgery were performed. We carried the dog for about half a year, had to take eye drops, eye ointment, which had to be treated several times a day. Continuous controls followed by an extra laser surgery due to the formation of new veins. It was also “interesting” that it was said after surgery that this ulcer could recur in the same way at any time. According to the last statement of the Doctor, the eye ulcer has been absorbed ... but as he is old, the healing process is slow and his eyes should be treated with eye drops until the end of his life. Since we didn’t see such a huge improvement, they tried in vain to convince us otherwise, pointing out photos of his first and last eyes, so we went to another ophthalmology as well. There, it turned out that our ulcer did not go away as claimed, laser treatment was not effective for this type (boxer ulcer), and it really shouldn’t be treated with a drip, and it didn’t even develop from rubbing. Compared to what has been said here, that you have to treat your eyes for the rest of your life, with just one surgery where you get a healing eye lens, after a few months, this greyness begins to be absorbed and your vision improves. Well now I don’t know if there is a shortage of professional knowledge or it was more convenient to go to constant checks and take the drops constantly (after own products) but it is outrageous that the dog was exposed to this procedure. We obviously, after not being professionally aware of these things, believed their word, although we often experienced side-talk, diversion. Again, just letting that particular date have an ornament, a minimum of 30-45 minutes of slippage, but we can still say that there are understandable things that take more time than they thought, we caught these cases every time. In summary, the treatment was clearly a miscarriage, so I would not recommend this office to anyone at all.

We’ve been coming here slowly for a year and a half with my 14-year-old kitten, for whom I couldn’t wish for better doctors. Even though we live far away, it was clear from the internet opinions that it was worth coming here in Budapest with an ophthalmic problem, and they absolutely served their reputation. :) They treat animals with love and care, monitor their recovery, and do their best to achieve the best possible results. My kitten was also operated on, where on the fly it turned out that the trouble was bigger than we thought before, but now half a year later it is super, the drops and tight control have made an impact. I also wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Dobos and Dr. Liliána, as well as everyone who helps in the practice to resolve the fears and anxieties of the owners and their animals who turn to them.
