V	Victoria Parker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Like walking into Grandma's kitchen if grandma were Hungarian. Traditional, tummy warming Hungarian cuisine. Very helpful kind owner. Terrific prices. We had Gulasch, beef stew with Dumplings and Hungarian ratatouille with sausage. Each good. Highly recommend the Gulasch & stew.

I can only speak with regards to my order but the gulyas was hearty and delicious as was the veal paprikas with cottage cheese and noodles!!! I learned that it just reopened 10 days ago and the menu is not quite the same so don't look at pictures from a while ago and think you will be able to order it. That being said, I do recommend this place but also be aware that seating is limited.

House wine was fine, nothing to shout about, but very quaffable, a glass or two and you'd start sinking them. The duck leg with cabbage and noodles was EXCELLENT. Tender sticky, moist duck with a crisp skin, salty cabage and firm noodles. Charming interior, no nonsense service. 5/5 will definitely return.

Nice cozy atmosphere like a home kitchen and 5 stars for service, the waiter is very nice and friendly, he also speaks English better than half of the waiters I met in some hungarian restaurants.
