In the last 3 years I had the good fortune to turn around in several places, from Fertőd to Tapolca to Eger, from Zalakaros to Blatonfenyves to Zamárdi. We spent a few days here with a company of 4 people, based on these: Location, equipment: Indeed, not the most modern furniture, but where "more modern" equipment was received, the price was a bit higher (or, for example, a family house in Fertőd, the owner of which worked abroad ...). Regardless, we could sit down, there was a place to sleep, we could take a bath, that in the meantime we didn't want to fall apart (like in Tapolca, where the plasterboard wall didn't really want to keep the shower console ...) The accommodation itself brought the atmosphere of the holiday homes of the '80s, but it was received at Sóstó and Fenyves 1 year ago ... moreover, in Sóstó we got a 2/3 big hole for our money, where we couldn't even solve the double bed, because fit in ... Staff, owner: We talked several times and the fact that he drew our attention to everything (eyes, loudspeakers, etc.), but since we are not illegal immigrants, we try to leave order behind anyway, on the other hand we came to Lake Balaton, so the accommodation is more it was a place of rest and rest, the party was more on the beach. For my part, I was raised not to treat others the way I would like me to do to me. I don't give a maximum rating just because we felt better in Eger and that minimum extra price was still worth it. On the other hand, Eger is Eger, from there Lake Balaton can only be reached a little further north as a dusty village, you have to come to the water at least to Zamárdi.

I can recommend this accommodation to everyone.

I will try to briefly summarize how much of everything was wrong with the accommodation. And it will be difficult to be short ... I and 5 other acquaintances of mine lived in the Cottage, the name of which perfectly describes what to expect. When we entered, we saw an old village putrita reminiscent of a mainstay. But okay, that could even be accepted. We saw the rooms where our chin had fallen from the cramped space, ruined furniture and ancient beds. The bathroom was acceptable, although it couldn't really ventilate due to the small window. 90% of the dishes were unwashed. The owner was a strange man. He could be very kind, but at the same time amazingly jerk and sexist at times. It may be because it is old and old-fashioned, but it is still. This is the XXI. century I beg. This accommodation is not for 6 people (although it is indicated on its website that 4-6 people) I had to save a lot of warm water to have it (which is a bit difficult for 6 people already and you even have to do the dishes sometimes during the day). There is Wifi, but it is almost useless because it did not reach our house or if it was reached, it could only be used after a long prayer. Just to say something more positive. I confess there is really no wrong place to stay because it is close to a lot of things. So I don’t recommend this accommodation for pine. Only choose this if there is no more space left.
