Koch Winery and Restaurant

The owner Csaba Koch himself presented the estate and took our group to the wine tasting. Every word and manifestation is permeated by the love of his profession, devotion, deep knowledge. He puts it all in such an interesting way that it grabs attention all the way through. In the end, we just asked and asked ... and then we left with a lot of wine. With family, friends, all seasons. Meals prepared with heart and soul, excellent wine tasting, sightseeing in Baja 10 minutes by car, Boat trip 15 minutes. By filling in 4-5 days, content can be spent smoothly. A real alternative to wellness hotels.

The estate is nicely kept in order, the construction of the buildings has also been solved in style. There is cleanliness everywhere. The office is located on the right, here you can buy wine at a very reasonable price. You can also visit the Kádár Room and the museum if the visitor needs it. Hotel reservations are only possible by prior arrangement, even in conjunction with a wine tasting. There is also a guest house on the property, not far from the cellar. It is absolutely recommended to visit the place, in a picturesque setting, a sumptuous winery with excellent nectar for thirsty wanderers. Wine tasting is only possible after registration, prior arrangement is required.

A wine tasting and a cellar visit had been arranged in advance, but the tasting turned out to be nothing. Since we were two, we would have joined a group, but the group was late. While we waited, we were able to see the plant, which is really impressive. Since the group did not arrive by the end of the factory visit, we were waiting for them in a rather cold room. After half an hour I called the lady who went to get information about the group to see if she could say anything already. Since we were already an hour and a half late from the original plan, we took 2 bottles of powder and came home. I hope the 2 journalists with whom we watched the plant did better, Csaba Koch dealt with them personally. We were at Bodri 2 days later. There was a terrible contrast between how the incoming guest was treated at Bodr and how we went at Koch. Obviously, they couldn’t say the group was late, but the fact that we stood in the cold for half an hour without getting information about anything didn’t go well. I gave the 3 points for the factory visit.
