Orderly environment is worth checking out.

Its clean environment, but it is hard to find, map navigation does not navigate well, because there is a small path behind the stream behind the residential houses.

History of Kont tree The gray poplar tree preserving the memory of István Kont Héderváry is located about 300 meters from the castle. The footpath leading to the memorial site passes by the stream, bordered by beautiful white birch trees. Héderváry (Kont) II. Together with the Ban of János István Horváty, he organized a conspiracy against King Sigismund here, under the huge poplar tree. In 1911, to protect the tree from extinction, the late successor, Károly Khuen-Héderváry, erected a small hill around it and placed a bronze plaque on it. According to his inscription, the tree was already so huge in 1241 that the county lords against the Tartars gathered around it. Beneath the wooden stone parapet is an oven-like structure. According to the legend of the loaves of stone, a woman once baked bread when she was surprised in 1241 by the Tatar army. To keep the food out of the dog's head, he turned it into a stone by reading it. This memorial site was preserved and cared for by the family and then the village for centuries. However, the white poplar tree was destroyed in 1978, despite all efforts to keep it alive. But the tradition lives on: the villagers planted a new tree in its place, which has since spread out nicely.
