Az oroszlán az egyetlen – a Klapka György Múzeum kőtárában megtekinthető – megmaradt emlék, melyet Koppány-monostorban közönség elé tárhattak. Ennek az oroszlánnak hű másolatát elhelyezték el a település közterületén.
Ha valaki a Horgász közbe téved, akkor már nyert ügye van. Az oroszlán mellett egy kőpad is található - kellemes elmélkedéshez."
