★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Depressing atmosphere, couldnt even get a pint of Guinness, waiter tried to say Oharas was the same as Guinness (not even remotely).. techno music playing in a traditional style Irish pub. Much like the actual county longford, this is best avoided

If you are in Budapest and fancy a nice Guinness than you shouldn't miss this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sat outside. Went in and tried to order. Told I have to wait for table service outside. After about 5 minutes managed to wave someone over who then went to the table next to us saying he would be a minute. Took their order then walked off and started doing random admin tasks. Another 5 minutes and he came back to us but instead served another table with the help of another bar tender who also ignored us. Then they both walked off. After 15 or 20 minutes we left
Go to Jack Doyle's, much better Irish bar with friendly staff

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good chill place to have a beer (soproni or Guinness if from the tap) or a good quality drink. They offer some food as well, which seems to be good (looking at other tables), but I only had some fries and onion rings this time. The tables outside have a nice view of the square and the tables inside gives the Irish pub vibe. They speak English and take cards. The service isn’t the fastest but efficient.
