A Budavári Palotanegyed szívében, a Nemzeti Hauszmann Program keretében korhűen újjáépített Főőrség 2021. május 14-én megnyitotta kapuit a látogatók előtt.

Az újjászületett Főőrség épületében az emeleten egy hiánypótló kiállítás nyílik. A több mint ötszáz, javarészt most először megtekinthető festmény, litográfia és archív fotó a magyar testőrségek 260 éves történetét mutatja be, számos érdekes tárgyi dokumentummal.

A Főőrség kávéház különleges atmoszférájú termeiben kávé vagy frissítő mellett a magyar történelem ízeibe is belekóstolhatunk majd.

Sétáljon a várban és pihenjen meg a Főőrség impozáns teraszán, egy habzóbor és egy sütemény társaságában.

O	Onur Torna on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waiters were very friendly and they suggested a traditional Hungary desert, Sòmloi, which was extremely good. I completely recommend it. One suggestion to visitors if you want to pay with Euro is that you should pay with card. Currency rate is lower than normal and they pay back with florin.

R	Rugli Thomas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This historical heritage is worth more than to offer tea, coffee and dessert, therefore upstairs opened a museum. I didn't see it. Concerning to coffee house it is trying to keep some atmosphere of the XIX. centuryround, but this is the field where - as I see - much to be do. The coffee taste is neutral, no name and is on the EU price level. The staff is nice, but do not wait to much from what they are serving... in spite of my opinion, the house was nearly full early afternoon.
