Mango Hotel

We booked this as there wasn't much availability. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our apartment was clean and convenient located. I thought the staff was very night and friendly also helpful.thank you for a memorable stay in this fantastic city.

I have previously stayed here before which is why I booked again.. however on arrival we were sent to another building which was completely unmarked. No “Mango” signs anywhere and showed absolutely no resemblance to the photos on the website. The building was a short walk from where we were supposed to be staying so anytime we needed the hotel support we had to leave and walk there. Our internet did not work, our tv etc did not work in the room and the staff did not seem to care. We felt unsafe as the window at the front of the apartment could be opened from the outside and the apartment was in no way modern. We made several calls asking to be moved to where we were supposed to be staying but were met with pretty rude responses from staff who actually blamed us and had a go at us in front of other customers. Overall pretty poor service and not what we payed for. It was clear that the hotel had “overbooked” and we were sent to an overspill building despite booking and paying upfront in advance. No effort was made to soften the blow of staying somewhere we didn't expect to.

Mango hotel/ apartment is just too good. When we went to the reception, we got to know that Mango hotel has several apartments. The staff at the reception was very polite and helpful. The apartment which we got was really nice and big and super clean. We also had kitchen along with utensils, so we could also cook in the apartment. Location: the location is another wonderful advantage to this hotel, as it is surrounded by pubs and bars. A very happening location.

We had a great stay here, had no issues with noise, the room was very clean with everyday house keeping as well! Comfy beds a cute living room and kitchen, and a decent bathroom! The location is great as well, only a few minutes from pretty much everything!

Hotel Is located on busy pedestrian street with lots of bars and pubs. Room was clean and spacious and staff at reception was helpful (24h reception). But you could hear loud noises from outside, laughs, people shouting inside the room with closed windows. Also noises from corridors from inside the building could be heard. Bed was very soft. I would not recommend for full price but if you get good deal then why not. Breakfast is served at nearby restaurant Spinoza.

We booked the apartment in Budapest by seeing the reviews and now after staying there I want to share my experience. It was our very neat and peaceful stay at Budapest near all the popular attractions and necessities. The people at reception were very polite. Good restaurants, pubs, shopping centers and moreover the St. Stephen Basilica was in just few minutes away. Very lively at night. So highly recommend this place.

It's not good looking as it looks at pictures but I love the location.

It was an OK stay here. We got a taxi here and it wasn’t really great as we had to read the signs At night directing us from the locked street door to the rear guest door. Once inside it’s a bit of a maze finding reception but we got there. The room was pleasant enough. We had 2 double beds but both were made up of two singles with two single duvets (which were already small enough in themselves). The staff were friendly and helpful and I couldn’t fault them. The cleanliness wasn’t too bad. Everything was good in preparation for our stay. The room was spacious and had a nice balcony which was well worth it. The location near all the bars on the Pest side is really useful and it’s a really good base for tourism or drinking. Overall it was a decent stay but the TV wasn’t great along with a few other let downs. Another point which I should mention is the music which ok Friday and Saturday can last for a long time into the night sometimes keeping people awake.
