★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was very interesting and sad at the same time finding out about Peter Mansfield at his memorial site, which is very nicely landscaped. His sculpture is protected by a rectangular brick structure, there are an explanatory panel, stairs and benches and a drinking fountain too. A quiet place to think, chat and enjoy nice views over the city. Loved it!
