The greatest adornment of the village is the Reformed church. The XIV. The eastern church, built in the 16th century, was made in the Gothic style. Between 1332 and 1335, the documents mention it as a Catholic church built in honor of the Virgin Mary. It later became the property of the Reformed. At this time, its walls, crowded with paintings and Gothic writings, were plastered and whitewashed. This, strangely, saved them. In 1999, the murals reappeared nicely during the restoration. When we first saw the church, we were amazed. We saw a building “boasting” with beautiful, arched windows, the windows being surrounded by flower duckbills painted “on the head”. Where is the tower here? Here in Bereg no towers were built for the small village churches! It was customary to build a beautiful wooden belfry next to the church. That was the case here too. The Gothic XIV. next to the 18th century church is an XVIII. century ancient belfry with a shingled roof spread out. Not far from the church is a house hiding the keys to the church, whose time allows, walk 100 meters for it. Worth it!
