Kontur Tamás szobrászművész alkotását 2010. november 30-án leplezte le a Mariazell és Csíksomlyó közötti Mária zarándokút nyomvonalán a Hegyvidék polgármestere Pokorni Zoltán és Semjén Zsolt miniszterelnök-helyettes.
In 2005, Farkasréti Square was renamed Márton Áron Square, and then the Hegyyvidéki Self-Government proposed that a statue be erected from the name. The work of the sculptor Tamás Kontur was unveiled on November 30, 2010 by the Deputy Prime Minister Zoltán Pokorni and Zsolt Semjén on the trail of Maria Pilgrimage between Mariazell and Csíksomlyó.
