★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WARNING, AVISO, RETTENETES. NEM JÓ. Do Not go here, I am an Indian visiting Budapest, after searching for hours for this location, I entered a store full of fabrics and incense. I was led to a basement with a small shelf full of old spices (not the deodorant, because real Indians avoid smelling good).
Everything was expired or close to expiring, the prices were 3 times more than what I pay in Southern California (also quiet a distance from Indian, but much better offerings). Out of desperation I purchased a product and as expected when tried it out it was awful, rancid, and of the poorest quality. There are no sweets no, no snacks, quality rice, or flat breads. THIS PLACE SUCKS....Szörnyú!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came prompt at 10:20. There was a sign “rögtön jövök”, something like “soon will come”. Waited for 10 min, called on the phone, the owner (not the worker that went away) said not in a very polite way “it is up to you wait or not”, when I said quite friendly “how long can it take more”
Don’t know how is the shop and commodities, bit you got that the first experience is already not the best... :(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not good one.. In fact it's not Indian store at all. Hardly one or two spices other than nothing in here. Don't waste searching for this place in Budapest. Note ; based on true experience, I live close by.

George is always so helpful with helping us create our next terrific meal. I highly recommend the market for a taste of India.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ (You can pay with a card) Seemingly easy-going owner makes your shopping more comfortable. I also find they sell at a bit cheaper price than the other Asian grocery stores in the heart of Budapest (of course it depends on which products you want, but if you look for Korean instant noodles or Japanese basic noodles, I highly recommend this shop).
