★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Price of entrance is 2000 Huf but it can be only be made meaningful if you purchase the audio guide for 700 more which definitely lifts the whole experience
By and large a waste of money, seriously wrong given that Liszt himself was a guy who gave away all his stuff after death and even the audio guide admits that the fact most of the stuff is in the museum is due to the generosity of the people who inherited what Liszt gave
I am a huge fan of Liszt and Wagner this experience was necessary for me but I do not recommend apart from die hard fans and people who collect dead bodies, you know who you are ?, people who would be interested in the last shirt worn by a dead guy more than a century ago

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For appreciators of Liszt and classical music this is a must visit. It’s great to see these real life locations in situ and looking at Liszt’s actual rooms and pianos gives a little shiver. Staff are nice, prices are cheap. Get yourself over.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small museum of the house of Franz Liszt when he lived in Budapest for a short period. It's only three rooms; piano room still has his pianos and the famous custom made music stand with heads of three of Liszt's inspirations. The study room is very cool, they kept some of the original furniture which can be seen in old photos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Indispensable piece of musical historical kept wonderfully intact. His pianos and a handful of personal items effects are kept remarkably well, giving a small glimpse into the man we know as a composer.
My only complaint is the display is rather small, only three rooms. And the caretaker of the museum watches over you as if you were going to steal something…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must visit museum for Franz Liszt fans. The place is a music academy. Inside you'll see many items personally used by the man himself. He lived here in the last six years of his life. Please visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small but interesting museum- house of Franz Liszt. Must-see for the fans of classical music but also for visitors who like that era (and art nouveau items). It is better to read the many, very analytical descriptions beside the objects, to get a complete picture of the times that he lived in. Very fair ticket price, friendly staff.
